Kerimaa mythology
The history of the universe by Kalevala.
The Big Bang, the creation of the world, the great mysteries of history. The riddle of Atlantis, the battle for Sammo, the birth of the freemasonry, megalithic palaces, forgotten expeditions, Pythagoras' theorem, the influence of the scientist Väinämöinen in the culture of China and Japan. The book reveals everything that Elias Lönnrot did not know or intentionally left out of his own Kalevala.
Savonlinna's holiday village is the original home of the ancient Kalevala. Signs of a long-lost culture can still be found there. The stories have been handed down from generation to generation, place names have references to the Kalevala. There is also a slowly crumbling sacred boulder, a symbol of Kerimaa mythology, which was thrown there by the giant Ymir himself. In Kerimaa, there is a Path of Love marked by Ilmattare herself, which still radiates strong magical fertility and the discovery of true love. Above everything hovers an incredible secret about the origin and identity of Santa Claus.
The epic collection of stories takes the reader through well-known and lesser-known events in history and non-history. As the historian-author Pekka Nurminen says: "All this is true and can also be found on Wikipedia. If you can't find it, the problem is in Wikipedia's incomplete update."
