City on the mountain - Johannes Nefastos

The city on the mountain presents a new, esoteric interpretation of the Sermon on the Mount, chapters 5-7 of the Gospel of Matthew. According to the point of view presented in the book, the Sermon on the Mount is about the guidelines of practical ethics, to which every person who thinks about spirituality - and not only Christians - must create a living relationship that is not afraid of questioning. Behind the often lifeless and rigid doctrines of Christianity, a way of experiencing life opposite to them begins to loom, which obliges us to face the humanity in ourselves and in others, from the basis of compassionate love and honesty.

Johannes Nefastos is the founder of the Brotherhood of the Star of Azazel, a writer and a master of religious studies. Nefastos has presented and written extensively on esotericism and occult philosophy.
