Pan's Garden - Algernon Blackwood
The anthology "Pan's Garden" contains the first editions of Blackwood's nature-themed horror short stories "The Man Whom the Trees Loved" (1912) and "The Golden Fly" (1912), as well as the updated Finnish translation of the classic "The Willows" (The Willows, 1907), who was also one of HP Lovecraft's biggest inspirations.
The work has been translated into Finnish by Ronja Erkko, and its foreword has been written by doctoral researcher Antti Litmanen, who is familiar with the productions of Blackwood, Arthur Machen and Kenneth Grant. Litmanen's preface "Interpreter of the Infinite" digs into Blackwood's esoteric connections, as well as the most significant background influences in his thinking.
The work has been published as a hardcover, numbered set of 300 copies. The cover material is green paper fabric and the title is gilded foil.
