This complete 86-card Cary-Yale Visconti Tarocchi deck contains a facsimile of 67 existing 15th-century cards, as well as 19 cards created to replace cards missing from the original deck. The 24 court cards are of particular interest because they contain both male and female knights. The 67 extant cards believed to be painted by Bonifacio Bembo are housed in the Cary Playing Card Collection at Yale University, Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library.

This deluxe edition includes a 68-page guidebook with color photos, expanded meanings by Stuart R. Kaplan, and an in-depth history of tarot cards by Thierry Depaulis.
