As is customary, the publisher's name is given on the Two of Pentacles.
Artist A. Ayermich has simplified the lines and added rich, warm colors and backgrounds to the images.
Each suit has a different background color: rose (cups), blue (swords), green (wands) and greenish-yellow (pentacles).
The major Arcana and court card titles are in French. Roman numerals are used for the card numbers.
