In 2021 when my partner shared an article with me about the copyright lapsing on E. H. Shepard's Winnie the Pooh, my mind went into overdrive.  I immediately began planning and strategizing the possibility of a Pooh inspired tarot deck and invited my family to join in the project.  It was then that Wisdom of Pooh Tarot began to manifest. 

This is a collaborative effort between my company, Rue & Vervain, and La Familia Mesa (the Mesa family) including my sister and co-creator, Angel. Angel and I have been working on this behind the scenes now for nearly a year and it has been one of the greatest blessings.

The Wisdom of Pooh is a 78 card tarot deck based on the Rider Waite Smith (RWS) system.  Kat L. Amsel is bringing our vision to life once again with her amazing talents. The artwork is a culmination of both old and new illustrations based on E.H. Shepard's classic work done for A. A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh in the 1920's. If you are a lover of all things Pooh, you're going to want to add this deck to your library or collection.

DECK SPECS

The Standard Size deck will be standard tarot size of 2.75 in x 4.75 in (70 mm x 121 mm) printed on 350 GSM linen card stock in a eco-conscious facility.  The standard deck will come edged in matte gold in a  magnetic enclosure box with a matte finish with gold detailing and keyword cards.
