The handmade sound bowl is made of copper, tin and eight precious metals (silver, nickel, cadmium, ruthenium, palladium, platinum, chromium, manganese). Forged Sound Bowls
Forged, i.e. hand-forged, sound bowls are made entirely by forging by hand. In forged sound bowls, each sound bowl is carefully forged, requiring multiple processes to achieve the perfect hand-forged bowl shape. In the manufacturing process, different metal combinations are first melted in a furnace as raw materials (copper, tin, zinc, iron, lead, gold, silver) depending on the manufacturing needs, such as for the production of bronze sound bowls or seven-metal sound bowls. Molten metal is poured into a mold for different sizes and weights. After that, the round metals are taken out and cut to the required size and thickness. After that, the plates are brought to the forging process, where they are forged by hand, accurately measuring and classifying them into bowls of different weights and sizes. In the forging process, four to five metal sheets are stacked on top of each other and heated to a blazing hot temperature. Glowing sheets of metal are forged by skilled artisans as long as there is heat in the metal, and then the process is repeated by reheating for continuous forging. This heating and forging continues until the desired shape and size is achieved. During the forging process, sheet metal can only be forged while it is glowing hot, as it remains soft and flexible. As the metal cools, it loses its softness and flexibility, making the metal brittle and thus the bowl can be damaged during forging and shaping. The background of the work process is that the metal of the bronze-containing metal or seven-metal alloy is very heat-sensitive and hardens when it loses its temperature, so it cracks and breaks during processing. Therefore, in this shaping phase, the shaping of the bowl is only done when the metal is very hot.

Once the desired shape is achieved, individual work begins. At this stage, each bowl is molded to a uniform shape and size, and this too can only be done during the same heating process and then by forging the exact shape. After defining the final shape and size, more fine forging is done to achieve the final tuning and design. Alone
