Like all other citrus essential oils, bergamot oil is fresh and invigorating, but less acidic, it is also the most delicately aromatic. The bergamot tree, which is very sensitive to temperature changes, can grow to a height of five meters. Its highly fragrant white flowers produce a small round fruit that resembles a miniature orange, dark green and yellow when ripe. Its small yellow fruits when ripe are inedible because they are very acidic.
