Lash has revived Gnostic cosmology and the Sophia myth — the story of the goddess incarnated as Mother Earth. "Not in the Image of God" offers an in-depth look at, among other things, pre-Christian European history, shamanism, mystery traditions, ecopsychology, noetics, the Gaia theory, and the ET/UFO phenomenon.
But above all, the book is written out of deep respect for Mother Earth and all of nature.
