When I started creating this deck of cards, it started as an artistic challenge. The goal was to set very precise sets of colors and then see if I could stick with them throughout the deck creation process.

I decided quite early on that each element of the minor arcana would be a complete color spectrum. Court cards with card images would be monochromatic, and cards from the major arcana would display a black and white imagery with one accented color depending on the number of that card.

The Fool is the only card that has every suit in the form of a spectrum. ∞

Holy Spectrum Tarot is an independently designed deck of Tarot cards by multi-talented artist Chase Voorhees.

The cards are printed on beautiful, high-quality 350 gsm art paper with a matte black finish on both the back and edges of the cards. The artistic idea behind it was to create the impression of a black void when the deck of cards is face down. Each time you pick up a deck of cards, it offers a ritual of peering into the unknown for guidance and clarity through the cards.

The Holy Spectrum Tarot tells the story with colors. The major arcana focuses on black and white with highlighted spots of color, while the minor arcana elements progress along the color scale.

The cards measure 120mm x 70mm (traditional Tarot size) and come in a stunning matte black custom designed box with a magnetic lid closure.
