Or use the designated cast iron teapot washer (product number 64536) to protect the surface underneath.
Keep the lid closed while pouring the tea. You can also use the teapot lid holder (item number 64540) to keep the lid in place while pouring.
Do not leave a hot teapot warmer unattended.

How to clean a Tetsubin teapot?
After use, simply rinse the teapot with water and dry it with a cloth.
