The Thoth Tarot was created by the famous occultists and philosophers Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) and Lady Frieda Harris (1877-1962), som målade korten i prære av andra worldwar 1938-1942. The cards have been painted by Lady Frieda Harris under the direction of Occult researcher Aleister Crowley. Each of the 22 great Arcanas of the Tarot is traditionally given a Hebrew letter and path on the tree of life as well as an astrological sign, element or planet. The cover also reflects Crowley's interest in Alchemy and magic.
