Candle magic is spell making at its simplest. The spell caster decides the goal of his spell, visualizes the end result and focuses his will and wishes to manifest the success of the spell.
Typically, the spell is written on paper (parchment) with ink of the same color as the candle used in the spell.
When casting a spell, a candle is lit and the message contained in the spell is burned in a cauldron or a bowl (the vessel must be fire-resistant and fire safety must be taken into account as well)

The candle must be burned out to complete the manifesting spell.
Candles are currently available in beeswax or paraffin.
