Runic literature

In search of wisdom, Odin (the god of wisdom and death) impaled himself on the tree of wisdom called Yggdrasil, which connects the nine different worlds. In his immense wisdom, Odin knew that only wisdom passed on sincerely is virtuous and bears fruit. By uniting with the energies of the tree, Odin learned 18 different sacred chants, which formed the 18 rune guide.
