This 36-card deck is based on Marie-Anne Lenormand's famous divination cards. Born in Alençon in 1772, Mademoiselle Lenormand was a talented fortune teller who gained great fame and honor among her contemporaries. Famous people like Napoleon himself and his wife Joséphine were among the large number of people who sought the advice of the "Sibyll of Paris". Lenormand died in Paris in 1843.
