The ancient continent of Atlantis was located in the area of the present Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantean Civilization had developed to a very high level, but gradually decayed due to the evil of humans. Atlantis was destroyed in three natural cataclysms that took place approximately 800,000, 200,000 and 11,500 years ago. Plato called this last part Poseidon.
