What is the call of Cthulhu? What did the mysterious meteorite do to the Gardners' farm? And what unprecedented disease afflicts the residents of Innsmouth?

Color from Space and Other Tales of the Cthulhu Mythology contains five classic horror stories by HP Lovecraft. The Finnish translations are completely new and based on the author's original manuscripts, offering the opportunity to read the stories as the author would have wanted to publish them himself. The stories are backed by a foreword and comments by Lovecraft expert Lauri Latu. They explain the meanings and terms of Finnish words and open up the background of the short stories.

Howard Phillips Lovecraft (1890-1937) was an American horror writer whose creation of the Cthulhu mythology has greatly influenced popular culture. The Cthulhu mythology is a unique phenomenon in literature, and based on it, numerous films, audiobooks, music, visual arts and games have been born. Numerous generations of horror writers have drawn inspiration from Lovecraft's works and expanded the Cthulhu mythology. The author's influence also extends beyond horror literature, and references to Lovecraft can be seen everywhere from The Simpsons to Metallica. Lovecraft can be considered the father of modern horror literature with good reason.

The collection includes the stories Dagon, The Call of Cthulhu, The Whisperer in the Dark, The Shadow over Innsmouth, and Color from Space.
