Nowadays, essential oils can be found in abundance in stores and they are also mixed with different products such as shampoos. A lot of essential oils are also used in perfumes.
However, few people know how they affect us and what adverse effects they can also have. In this book you will get basic information about aromatherapy and the effects of essential oils. The book also gives fun tips for using essential oils at home, such as how you can make your own oil blends for beauty care and various ailments, your own perfume, and how to use essential oils in the bath and sauna.
Merja Lieppinen graduated as a diploma aromatherapist at the Finnish Academy of Aromatherapy in 2002 and taught aromatherapy for more than 10 years, e.g. at the Finnish School of Cosmetology.
