The ancient symbol is also known under the Icelandic name "Vegvisir" (Icelandic: Vegvísir, “The one pointing the way” pronounced “VEGG-vee-seer”) is a symbol of Norse mythology. More precisely, it is a so-called sigil or Galdrastafur (Icelandic) for protection. The pendant can be worn on both sides.
