In ancient Egypt, cats were considered sacred animals. They represented the goddess Bastet, who was depicted as having the head of a cat. Bastet was originally associated with the sun god Re, but later came to be associated with the life-sustaining power of the sun, the protection of women, joy, and happiness.
Material: pewter alloy with an antique silver finish.
