100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by steam distillation of Juniperus communis berries. A 4-6 meter tall tree that loves the sun and is not afraid of the cold, the juniper has needle-like leaves and dark blue berries when ripe. Widely used in cooking, "juniper berries" are also used to obtain the finest juniper essential oil, which is extracted by steam distillation of crushed and dried berries. They should be picked by hand to avoid contact with other unripe berries present at the same time. Appearing very early in human history, some archaeologists found pieces of this berry crushed from incense burners dating back more than a millennium BC in Crete.
