Tabletop role-playing is an interactive storytelling game where each player has their own character. The game leader tells the story and describes the world, and the players decide what their character will do to face the challenges. In addition, dice are rolled to determine how the character's actions will be successful. All of this happens in the participants' imaginations while they sit around a table in an atmospheric setting.

Role-playing dice are important in many tabletop role-playing games. When talking about dice, the abbreviation D (=dice) is often used and the number of sides of the dice is given as a number (D6 = six-sided dice, i.e. a regular cube dice). A traditional dice set has seven different dice: D20, D12, 2x D10, D8, D6 and D4. It depends on the rules of the role-playing game what and how they are used. One dice set will certainly get you far, but every role-playing gamer knows that you can never have too many dice. There are indeed a million different types of dice, so everyone is sure to find their own dice.

These dice are like no other. They are made from the same metal used to make the Necronomicon. They are painted black because no darker paint could be found. The numbers and patterns are engraved on the dice like tombstones, so they can withstand heavy use. The dice are approved by Chaosium (the creators of the Call of Cthulhu game). Each dice has tentacles and fang-toothed mouths to remind you that these dice are not worth leaving on a shelf to gather dust. When unused, they may summon an ancient monster that will not leave you alone even in your dreams... The dice feel heavy in your hands and are made to last for years and a thousand throws. We recommend using a rolling mat with metal dice if you don't want to destroy your or your friends' table surface.
