100% pure and natural essential oil obtained by cold-pressing Citrus reticulata fresh peel (pericarp). The mandarin tree is a small tree with fragrant flowers and fruits ranging in color from yellow to orange-red. Its fruit is a sweet and fragrant pulp, not very sour, but it has a lot of seeds, unlike clementine. Originally from China, the mandarin owes its name to the Chinese mandarins who traditionally received this fruit as a gift. Mandarins are still offered every year during the New Year in southern China. At the essential oil level, depending on the ripeness of the fruit, the essential oil of green, yellow or red mandarin is obtained, with the red mandarin having a finer and more subtle scent.
