The Thoth Tarot was created from cards painted by the famous occultist Aleister Crowley (1875-1947) and Lady Frieda Harris (1877-1962), who interpreted Aleister's ideas into stunning visual designs. The Thoth Tarot took over five years to publish and was first published in 1969, several years after the deaths of Crowley and Harris. The pack contains 78 cards and a detailed brochure.

The cards were painted by Lady Frieda Harris following the instructions of occultist Aleister Crowley. The stunning art deco work incorporates cabalistic and astrological attributes depicted in Aleister Crowley's Book of Thoth. Thothie's stunning art deco work is rich in Egyptian symbolism. Each of the 22 major trumps of the Tarot is traditionally assigned a Hebrew letter and a path on the tree of life, as well as an astrological sign, element or planet. The cover also reflects Crowley's interest in alchemy and magic.
