The ancient continent of Atlantis was located in the area of the present Atlantic Ocean. The Atlantean Civilization had developed to a very high level, but gradually decayed due to the evil of humans. Atlantis was destroyed in three natural cataclysms that took place approximately 800,000, 200,000 and 11,500 years ago. Plato called this last part Poseidon.
The continent of Lemuria comprised vast areas from the Indian Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. Lemuria was the first home of the physical human race. The rulers of Lemuria were divine kings who had only a physical appearance in common with mortal men. Lemuria sank about 70 million years ago.
