The legend of the fourth wise man, the story tells of a wise and rich man named Artaban, who sees an omen in the sky, a bright star, and plans to go with three other wise men to the East to worship the newborn king of the Jews. However, he is late, and only the three wise men make it to Bethlehem. American Henry van Dyke's charming work from 1896 tells about Artaban's trek and sheds light on man's journey, plans, disappointments and growth. The classic story has been translated into Finnish by Alice Martin.
